Hi i'm Helen from the UK, I love 60,70.80's music some of the best music to date, considering alot of the rap and pop music out today I can barely understand LOL My sister, when in her teens was a huge fan of Shakin Stevens...who here can remember him, all I can remember is his posters all over my sisters walls!!! He had some great songs and it's a shame they don't get played on the radio alot more Take care all. HELEN :-)

I heard that he was touring but never seems to come to my city! The year before last I got me and my parents tickets to see Status Quo, they were fabulous live, would love to see them again. My favourite current band who are nothing to do with 70's and 80's are the STEREOPHONICS, they are a welsh band, I have been a dedicated follower of them since the beginning, and in November I will go to see them live for the 3rd time. My favourite old time singer is Frank Sinatra, and James Dean, although I love Elvis aswell, my, wasnt he handsome hahaha... HUGS all. HELEN ox

Is it easy to make your own forum? Do you have to pay to make your own or is there a website where you can make them free? I tried to make a top100 sites list before for all THE BILL websites but all the one I found you had to pay to make! I would really like to make a forum but wondered if they are easy or hard to keep safe and maintain? Take care for now - shortly off to bed. HUGS from HELEN ox

Hi Helen I've never seen Status Quo live but I would like too one of these days . Sterophonics I've heard of them they aren't bad , hey you can discuss out of 70s and 80s I will allow it ok lol. Frank Sinatra he is a blast from the past lol, but I thought James Dean was an actor and not a singer (oh well you learn something new everyday val ), when Elvis was younger he was a very good looker Helen but near the end of his life sadly he lost his looks and gained weight (gaing weight is so easy to do me too ;p lol) I prefer to think of him in his prime in his younger days . it is quite easy to make a forum and to keep safe and mentain one , this is a freewebsite (I'll email you the url ok) .take care of yourself I'm going to bed myself now hugs Valx

Hi Val, Good job! Love your site! I'm a bit older than you so I was there at the beginning with Elvis! I live 100 miles North of Memphis. I have been to Graceland many times and was acquainted with some of his cousins and uncles. My husband, a locksmith, used to do work for him and met Elvis's Dad when we moved to Memphis. We were invited to go out to his farm in Mississippi and ride his horses but never got the time to do it. He wouldn't have been there anyway! I saw him perform in Oklahoma City, OK. in March before he died in August that year. He put on a wonderful concert and left us all wanting more! Yes, he was overweight but still handsome and charismatic! The ultimate gentleman and performer!
