McCartney to pen Shrek 4 soundtrack?
Rocker Sir Paul McCartney looks set to write the music to Shrek 4 - and may even star in it, according to reports.
The former Beatle - whose songs Live And Let Die and Wings were used in Shrek The Third - is in talks with Hollywood bosses about working on the soundtrack to the latest installment of the hit franchise.
And the 65-year-old is being spurred on to take on the project by his three-year-old daughter Beatrice's love of the animated movies.
A source tells the Daily Express, "Producers want Paul to compose some original tunes for the next one. He could even briefly voice a character. There have been meetings and apparently he's very keen, because his daughter is a fan
