Osbournes charity auction
Tuesday October 09, 2007 The Osbournes are hosting a $1 million garage sale of their possessions with proceeds going to charity, they have announced.
Ozzy and Sharon have decided to put items collected over a "lifetime" under the hammer, in order to free up space in three of their homes.
The 600 lots of memorabilia, jewellery, costumes, paintings and furniture have been collected from their properties in Beverley Hills, Malibu and Buckinghamshire.
Funds from the sale, which takes place on November 30 and December 1, will go to the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Foundation.
Amongst the possessions are their Louis XVI-style master bedroom suite, the all-terrain vehicle in which he was seriously injured in 2003 and son Jack's black leather bed.
Speaking about the decision to sell the items, Sharon explained: "Both Ozzy and I have very special memories of each and every item.
"It is like giving up a part of us, and we hope each and every item finds a very special home".
Julien's Auctions House, who are hosting the Beverly Hills sale, said they were hoping to bring in more than $1 million in total.
