Led Zeppelin: New music? The Led Zeppelin reunion could see the band record new material for the first time in almost 30 years, Jimmy Page has admitted.
The rock legends return to the live stage for a rare show, minus original drummer John Bonham, next month at the O2 Arena.
The group's guitarist has been speaking about the reformation and admits it is almost inevitable they will come up with new music.
However, Page has also insisted he and the other members of Zeppelin remain cautious about what will happen in future, in terms of recordings and live shows.
"Look, I'd be really surprised if there wasn't - you know, I mean I just know the way we are. We're musicians...as we're playing we'll probably be coming up with all manner of things.
"And that will be fun. I mean that's what it's all about. Let's do the O2 show, shall we? And then we'll speak to you afterward", he told JAM! Music.
Page also said he, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones are taking things "one step at a time". They will be joined at the gig on drums by Bonham's son Jason.
Led Zeppelin play the O2 Arena on November 26, raising funds for the Ahmet Ertegun Education Fund.
