Most famous for his role as Scott Robinson in Neighbours, 80s heartthrob Jason Donovan won nearly every Australian award during his time on one of Australia's most successful drama series and the hearts of millions. His vocal career began in 1988 when he released 'Especially for You' with Kylie Minogue and a debut solo album 'Ten Good Reasons'. Following the release of his second album in 1989, Jason became the biggest selling UK and European artist. On top of that, in 1991 Jason triumphed in the West End when he starred as Joseph in 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' at the Palladium. In 1998, Jason again drew sell-out crowds for his performance as Frank 'N' Furter in 'The Rocky Horror' UK Tour during the show's 25th anniversary.

Jason Donovan has revealed that he is desperate to take on the title role in Doctor Who.
The I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! star, who is soon to appear alongside Martine McCutcheon in new ITV1 soap Echo Beach, admitted that he would love to portray the Time Lord when David Tennant steps down.
He said: "I would love to play the doctor. It's a great show. Can you imagine an Aussie doctor?"
Donovan's former girlfriend Kylie Minogue will appear in this year's Doctor Who Christmas special.
