Revered American singer/songwriter, most famous for his 1971 hit American Pie. After learning his craft from friend and mentor Pete Seeger during the sixties, McLean went on to international fame and notoriety. The likes of Madonna, George Michael and even Elvis Presley have covered his songs, and he is still performing four decades on. A true living legend.
