Morrissey: Greatest hits
Morrissey is planning to release a new album and a greatest hits in 2008, his manager has revealed.
The former Smiths icon has toured almost constantly since the release of 2006's "Ringleader Of The Tormentors" but has no plans to slow down.
Merck Mercuriadis has revealed that talks about more live shows across the globe next year are also in the pipeline.
Morrissey is also expected to sign to a new label shortly, who will presumably release the new record. The upcoming best of is also expected to feature new material.
Speaking about Morrissey's plans for 2008, Mercuriadis explained: "He'll be back out in January. We'll take a short break and then start again in March."
There are currently no track or release details for the new album or the greatest hits.
