ED BRADLEY TO RECEIVE POSTHUMOUS AWARD FOR LEADERSHIP
Jazz at Lincoln Center will celebrate the music of the big band era at the organization’ s fall gala entitled Best of the Big Bands. The concert will feature the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, Paul Anka, Eartha Kitt and Fantasia. A festive dinner will be held throughout Frederick P. Rose Hall venues following the concert. As part of the gala events, Jazz at Lincoln Center board member, the late Ed Bradley, will receive a posthumous award for leadership. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Jazz at Lincoln Center’s performance and education programs.
