Debbie Harry finds songwriting simple Saturday, October 6 2007.
Debbie Harry has revealed that she found it relatively easy to write songs for her new solo album Necessary Evil.
The singer started working on tracks for the album, which was released last month, during a break from her Blondie schedule a year and a half ago.
"I started working on ideas and coming up with a bunch of songs in my spare time when I wasn't touring with Blondie. I just had one of those crazy moments when making a record seemed like a good idea," Harry told NME.com.
"I ended up writing a bunch of songs about relationships and love in all different degrees of seriousness. The songwriting process is actually easier for me after doing so many albums."
Debbie added that she is hoping to start a US solo tour next month.
