Yes I realise The Spice Girls are a 90,s group but I am going to include one or two from the 90,s ok . The Spice Girls have announced that they are reuniting for a world tour and a greatest hits album. Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell held a press conference at the 02 Arena in east London earlier today to unveil their comeback plans. The pop five-piece will begin their tour in Los Angeles in December, before going on to perform in Las Vegas, New York, London, Koln, Madrid, Beijing, Hong Kong, Sydney, Cape Town and Buenos Aires. Halliwell said: "I think for us it was about celebrating the past, enjoying each other and it's about our fans. It was the right time." Chisholm, who had previously been opposed to the idea of a Spice Girls comeback, added: "Well, a girl's allowed to change her mind, I'll say first of all. And also, this is something that we only seriously started discussing this year. "I think all of us had our fears and doubts but we feel like the time is right, and we want to have some fun and be together again for a little while." The Spice Girls formed in London in 1994. Their three studio albums - 1996's Spice, 1997's Spiceworld and 2000's Forever - achieved worldwide sales of over 35 million. The pop five-piece also scored nine UK number one singles before they announced that they were taking a break in 2001.

The Spice Girls will not be recording any new material together for their reunion tour.
Victoria Beckham has explained that it is far more important for the girls to celebrate their past success, rather than trying to match it with new singles.
Asked about the tour, she promised: "It is gonna be fantastic. We're not starting up again and we're not gonna be releasing lots of new material; we wanna celebrate the past. As a band, we sold 55 million albums, which is huge. We want to celebrate that."

Spice Girls announce extra concerts Times Online and agencies The Spice Girls unveiled a new grown-up look today as they announced extra dates for their reunion tour.
Instead of kicking-off in Los Angeles, Victoria Beckham's new hometown, the band will play their first comeback concert in Vancouver, Canada.
Three new dates were announced as the latest picture of the band showed that Sporty, Ginger, Posh, Baby and Scary's trademark dress codes have been dropped for a more sophisticated image.
But none of the extra concerts are on home turf, meaning that, so far, the band are still only playing one UK date, in London, in December.
The band announced new concerts in San Jose, California, and Shanghai, China.
The LA concert will now be their third performance on the 14-night tour of six continents.
The Spice Girls sold 55 million albums and scored nine UK number one singles before splitting in 1998.
Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Mel Brown, Emma Bunton and Mel Chisholm are now all in their 30s and have six children between them.
Since launching their reunion tour last month, three million people - who can buy up to six tickets each - have registered to see the band.

Baby Spice has a baby! Oo, and check out the nippers fancy name
10 August 2007
Emma Bunton has just given birth to a little baby boy called Beau, it's French for handsome apparently...
The baby weighed in at 7lb 15oz which fact fans is the exact same weight as Jade (the father, not Goody) weighed when he was born. What are the chances, eh?
A spokesperson for the couple said that 'none of the Spice Girls have called yet' but they're sure they will soon... Let's hope so, otherwise we're sure there'll be a few frosty exchanges at the ol' reunion gigs...

George Michael has been approached to write a Christmas single for the Spice Girls, according to a report.
The group's manager Simon Fuller has started making plans for the singers to take on the X Factor winner in a Christmas chart battle.
An insider told the News of the World: "The girls are thrilled to be in talks with George. He's one of the most talented songwriters around and it will make their comeback bigger and better than ever."
The source added: "This year's Christmas No1 is a two-horse race and is impossible to call. The X Factor looks unstoppable, and the show's been getting some really good ratings too."
The girls had three consecutive Christmas number ones in their heyday; '2 Become 1' in 1996, 'Too Much' in 1997, and 'Goodbye' in 1998.
